Orchestra
The full-sized symphony orchestra combines professional and amateur musicians, usually auditioning for membership. The orchestra is always looking for experienced players. At present we have a vacancy for a French Horn and would particularly welcome viola and double bass players.
Rehearsals take place at 7:30 pm each Wednesday (early September to end May) at Burnham Grammar School, Hogfair Lane, Burnham, SL1 7HG, led by Leon Gee, Director of Music. If you are interested in joining us, come along to a rehearsal to see or email us at orchestra@sloughphil.org
chorus
Our chorus rehearses at 7.30 pm each Monday (early September to end May) at Burnham Grammar School, Hogfair Lane, Burnham, SL1 7HG. Rehearsals are led by David Manners, Chorus Director.
We welcome all voices. You do not need to audition and though it is helpful if you read music. If you are interested in joining us come along on Monday evening or email us at chorus@sloughphil.org.
